Addendum to Loadrite™ C-Series Conveyor Scales Quotations

This addendum applies to all Loadrite C-Series Conveyor Scales Quotations and covers
the site requirements and obligations of Halomec in the supply, installation and commissioning.
1) Terms of Supply
a) Prices quoted are net, excluding VAT and are valid for 90 days from date of quotation.
b) Prices are quoted on the basis of installation during normal working hours (7am – 6pm
Monday to Friday)
c) 12 months parts and labour warranty apply to all installations of new equipment
d) Site induced delays of more than one hour per installation, eg extended inductions, interruptions, non-availability of equipment, remedial
work to equipment etc will be chargeable @ £69.00 per man-hour plus 75p/mile in the case of reattendance.
e) Halomec will will provide task-specific risk assessment and method statement prior to installation, for review and sign off. In addition, a dynamic risk assessment will be performed at point of install.
2) Customer Required to provide:
a) Unrestricted access of conveyor for one day per conveyor installation
b) Provision of access platform/operator/scaffolding and safety equipment as dictated by
the specific requirement and RAMS
c) 230V AC 3amp fused spur in the location of the display integrator (Static plant)
d) Min spec 5 core 2.5mm2 armoured cable to be installed by customer from the location of
the scale frame on the conveyor to the location of the integrator in the plant room (Static
plant)
e) The conveyors should be in good, clean condition with all idlers straight and functioning
correctly , the conveyor belt in good condition.
f) Ethernet connection to the site intranet network at the location of the display integrator, where there
is a requirement for Loadrite Insight reporting.
g) In the case where the scale is required to integrate with the PLC via industry standard pulse (tonnage) and mA (rate) outputs, the interface cables to the Trimble integrator should be pre-installed by the customer.
