New SOLAS Global Legislation enforced 1st July 2016 will require verification of container weights prior to loading and shipping.
The LOADRITE L-2180 weighing system is now trade approved for reach stackers, helping port operators to meet these requirements. SOLAS regulations stipulate that all container cargo must be weighed using a certified method prior to loading. The L-2180 now eliminated the need for costly and time consuming static weigh bridges, allowing dynamic weighing of containers with minimal impact on loading time.
